Unwritten Chronicles

It has been over four years not celebrating the Holidays the way we used to back in the Philippines. Though the spirit of Christmas are all over me but celebrating it back home wasn’t just the same while growing up. I miss celebrating Christmas and New Year the Philippine way with my friends and family.

While I’m on a five-week vacation back home, I made sure that the Christmas experience was just splendid just the way I wanted to feel and enjoy it. I had fun with my family and friends. The joy of their company was just the thing I missed the most. I will surely can’t get over it.

The photo was taken at MRT (Metro Rail Transit), one of the public transportation in Metro Manila, Philippines. I told my sister to take a photo of me because I miss those days when I had to use MRT to get to my destination. It was fast and easy, though it’s a little crowded but at the end of the day, you’ll still get there.

Now that I am back in Texas for the winter, my friend and I loves to meet on weekends or whenever she’s off from work. We play with our own make-ups, we cook, and we love taking pictures. We love the camera!

We just love posing. Same routine when we see each other the next time. Sometimes, we just talk a lot. Our life, differences, visions, plans in the future or everything under the sun. We love going to museums, zoos, casinos (just to look around) and the mall. Anything interesting, educational, fun and exciting, we explore them. I just wish that there’s more interesting places around where we live, or better yet, we have to drive about 100 miles just to see a different place to hang out.

I was browsing some old photos today. I saw the photo above. This was taken last May 1st 2011. The little girl in the photo is such a sweet kid. She’s just so adorable. She rarely cries and smiles a lot. She loves to hug and to be hugged. I am just wondering, what if I have a little girl like her? Hmmm, just wondering!
